Building a mlm business part-time is the greatest gift you can give to yourself when you retired. Retirement should be a time when you can relax and forget about work completely. Unfortunately, many people are unable to retire comfortably due to the lack of proper financial planning.

When retirement hit them, many find themselves in an awkward position as they do not have enough savings and their insurance are not adequate to cover their lifestyle that they want. Investing in stocks and property may or may not earned them the income that they need for retirement as it really depends on the market condition when you retired.

You could try your luck on buying lottery or on the gambling table but you should know that the odds are against you. That is how the lottery and gambling business operate and make money by engaging mathematical expert to design games that the probability are in favour of them.

What you should be seeking are money making opportunities that the probability are in your favour. One business you should consider and think about is building an online mlm business. First, remember that an online mlm business is not a get rich quick scam. It require mental hard work in the beginning as you need first to educate yourself on how stuff work on the internet.

You have to learn and gain knowledge in area such as:

– Creating and updating website.

– Optimizing your website with relevant keywords for free web traffics.

– Bid for targeted keywords using Google Adwords (http://adwords.google.com).

– Article marketing to drive free traffics to your business.

– Submit online press release etc.

That is why in any kind of offline or online business, it take both time and effort. However, the great thing about building an online mlm business is its leverage income. Leverage income means that you earn a lifetime commissions by grooming team leaders that were recruited by you. You guide and teach them to duplicate your success.

In the long-run, an online mlm business opportunity beats any other online opportunities due to its lifetime leverage income. Leverage income take into consideration that all human have a limited amount of time and money. Alone, we have limited amount of advertising budget. Alone, we can only managed a limited number of high traffics business website.

As humans, we need to sleep, rest and spend time with our family. Our time to run our business is also limited. There are no way a person can earn a five to six figure of consistent online income without any kind of team effort in the long-term.

Planning to make more money and living a comfortable life after retirement is definitely possible. Building a successful business is a slow process, however, the knowledge gain will become part of you. That is the real secret of wealth of the rich and wealthy.

Suppose you have to establish a new company. Suggest in which item or items company should deal. How much sale of the item is required in order to reach at break even point depending on the suggested price of item, production capacity, fixed and variable cost associated with the item? Businesses have to plan for the future. Since equipment breaks down or wears out, business owners have to have the money to replace the equipment. In addition, money might be set aside for retirement benefits for their employees. Suggest if the company need to set aside the lump sum of money that will collect interest or company should purchase annuities. Support your suggestion with argument.

activity
revenue
gross payroll including bonuses
benefits including insurance and retirement plans
part time/full time employees including temps and independent contractors and number of each
utilities used
fuel usage
taxes paid
internet sales and other e-commerce

Before you say anything Yes I know there have been other census but this particular one was created in 2009.

I am not saying there is anything political behind it either but the line of questions is interesting considering the current political climate.

Many people with larger balances like to ask others what their retirement plan balances are, or to brag about how large theirs is. Here’s the truth about these blowhards – even if you have not a dime in a retirement account, you can still live much better than someone who has $500,000 in a retirement account, by starting your own business.

$500,000 in retirement savings does not go far in the real world.

Let’s be honest about retirement accounts. Many people have predicated everything on a 10% return. It’s not going to happen. It happened for one period of American history that is just that – history. The real return you’ll get on CDs is around 2% to 3%. And stocks are looking like 5% best case, based on predictions by the top fund managers. That means that a $500,000 retirement account will earn between $10,000 and $25,000. Can you live on that? And since most people live 15 years beyond retirement age, don’t think you can just draw down the principal to make it happen – that’s only about $30,000 per year until you go broke.

Retirement accounts leave nothing to your heirs.

If you gut your retirement account, you will have nothing to leave your heirs. Even if you have a small balance remaining, what good is that going to do when you split it five ways, or however many kids or grandkids you have?

The bottom line is that retirement accounts, despite their media frenzy and point of reference for most commercials, aren’t going to support you or leave anything to your heirs.

A better solution: starting a part-time business.

Let’s assume you start a business and build it up, in your spare time, to something that makes $30,000 per year. Not only are you on par immediately with the income of the guy with $500,000 in his retirement plan, but you are building an asset for your heirs. In addition, you can often sell that business to someone else at a multiple of income stream – in other words, you can use 100% of the cash flow and then sell it for a large balance at the end. You’d be putting money in the bank with the retirement account “king” is depleting to zero.

And don’t forget that many part-time businesses grow into big businesses. Look at Steve Jobs and Apple, which began in a garage, or Michael Dell, who started Dell in his college dorm room. And there are many, many, other lesser-known examples.

More than just money in benefits.

A start-up business yields many benefits other than just cash. It also is a source of fun and self-respect and excitement. There are few things as rewarding as working for yourself and keeping 100% of the rewards. You can set your own hours and pick the projects you want to work on.

You build camaraderie with your clients and a social network which is very beneficial in retirement. It can consume your life in a good way. You might even be able to work with your kids and grandkids, if it works out that way.

Conclusion

Let others obsess about their retirement accounts. They can read all day about how to invest to make an extra $5 per month. Put your efforts into something more worthwhile and start a business. You’ll live better than they will, and have fun doing it.

Hi. I run an eBay sales LLC. I have seven employees including myself. My employees and myself are all in our 20s. I’m looking into retirement plans for myself and thought maybe I can have a company plan. I have been looking over everything online, but I knew nothing before this. I guess there is no clear answer as to what is best, but given the following of what I want can anyone give some good advice…

I want a plan that…
- Is easy and cheap.
- Allows me to make no contributions to my employees, but also allows me to if I wish.
- Is easy to figure out what to do when an employee leaves
- Allows me to contribute a generous amount to my myself (I think… I’m not really sure what is a reasonable amount to save, but $2,000 I see on some plans seems pretty small).

Can anyone help?

I believe it is extremely important to teach today’s youth about real life situations they will encounter. Many kids today don’t know a lot about the real world and what it takes to be successful. I think high schools should teach these kids things they can actually apply to their own lives. For instance, I believe there should be a class which teaches students how to interview, write a resume, apply for credit cards, learn about loans( student loans, car, home, business), how to file taxes, open checking/savings accounts, retirements plans, etc.
I’m currently in the process of developing a plan which goes beyond the average Economics class. Hopefully I can encourage people to teach this generation a little more about the “real world”.
Sooo, what do you guys think? Good plan? Or just a waste of time? I’m interested in your thoughts and I’d love any new ideas!
Well from my own personal experience, I didn’t have this information available at my school. Some teachers did have guest speakers come in and talk to us about interviewing and things like that, but you can’t really teach kids just by having someone talk about it for an hour so they can forget the next day.
Also, many kids don’t have parents or anyone to help them with these types of things. Yes it may be controversial, but we kind find ways to make it work such as consent forms and things like that. It’s not like we’d be forcing them to apply for credit, just informing them.
